Dallas police are searching for a suspect who robbed a 7-Eleven store in January, taking the cash register drawer and fleeing on foot. The suspect, described as a Black male about 5 feet 8 inches tall and 170 to 180 pounds, walked into the store at 302 North Marsalis Avenue around 10:30 p.m. on January 13. He waited until no other customers were inside before displaying a handgun and pointing it at the cashier. The suspect then took the cash register drawer and fled eastbound on foot on 8th Street. Det. Eduardo Lopez Villa believes anyone who knows the suspect will be able to recognize him based on the video and screenshot. Tipsters can call or text Det. Villa at 469-755-8445.
